We at MOIRA believe plan management has, for the life of the NDIS, been a way for people with disabilities to exercise choice and control over their supports, to be a buyer and not a recipient. MOIRA FPM has been a plan manager all that time and our formal and informal gauges show that benefit has been near-universal for our customers.
We accept financial plan management in the NDIS is better suited to firms with access to the enormous amounts of money required to develop technology and to operate at a scale many times that of MOIRA.
Kismet Healthcare is a plan manager in the NDIS and has a history of being customer experience-led in way they apply their technological capability.
Kismet Healthcare will be the new owner of MOIRA FPM by the end of 2026.
MOIRA and Kismet Healthcare will work extensively throughout this year of transition to marry choice and control experiences and MOIRA's financial expertise with how technology can play a role. Kismet Healthcare value their team members - corporate, technology development and business operations, so the co-alignment with MOIRA has a great start.
Our plan is to be largely business as usual for customers and team members throughout MOIRA FPM's move to Kismet Healthcare as its new owner. This will take most of 2026 to complete so service levels can be maintained. Kismet Healthcare are keen to reference business and relationship practices MOIRA has developed for the way they support NDIS participants to have supports reflective of their personal choice and control.
